What's the difference between
an
eAdoption and an actual Adoption?


eAdoption:
 You'll receive an email generated certificate of
adoption that you have to print out for framing.
You'll also receive any information
regarding your new rock,
including name, family & medical history (if known),
birth date and country of origin (if known),
 and current residence.  

     Deluxe eAdoption
  Same as above
 PLUS
 receive a digital photograph of your adopted rock,
 complete with email address
so you can communicate with him / her!
Please be patient with responses from your rock.
 Although they have the best intentions and
WILL get back to you,
 they're kind of
  s l o w 
and tend not to type too well
 (must be that no hands thing) 

   


Actual Adoption:
You'll receive
 a hard copy certified certificate of adoption,
 all information you receive in an eAdoption PLUS,
 we'll ship your new addition to the family to your door!
 That's right, he'll (or she'll) fly first class
 and arrive (in most cases)
 within a week after adoption approval
(as long as we can work out any customs or
 unforeseen passport issues, of coarse).
From this point on,
the cute little bugger is yours
to take care of with love and care.

   Deluxe Rock Adoption
 You'll surely be the envy of any and all social
 (and anti-social) gatherings when you show up
with one of our "Special" rocks.
While it is very noble
(not to mention, good for the soul) 
to adopt a normal rock,
 those wishing to adopt a Deluxe Rock,
 will be assured a rock with a higher
pedigree, a "professional" rock
of a minimal quartz quality.
He / she will come clothed
in their day to day work attire. We have a
 select number of displaced police,
 karate, ball player, doctor, royalty and of coarse,
 rock star rocks that are
looking for a family.
Although we can NOT guarantee a specific profession,
we'll look long and hard to find you a rock you'll be
proud to show off...
